Local Attractions & Activities
Renée Zellweger brought Beatrix Potter to life in the 2007 film, Miss Potter
Now come and explore Beatrix Potter Country - we are very close to Sawrey where Miss Potter lived and many of the location shots were filmed, in the spectacular Lake District countryside.

Perhaps her most famous book "The Tale of Peter Rabbit", was published in 1902, and was the first of the 23 Beatrix Potter wrote about woodland animals.

The English Lake District is one of the most beautiful places in the UK to explore.

There are activities which will appeal to all types - whether you're looking for a lazy break away from it all, or a short action-packed holiday.
